 Lakeview High School Class of 1988 - Latest News 08-11-2008 - 2 Weeks to Go! With only 2 weeks to go people are starting to ask many questions as to the dinner dance dress code. So, we wanted to announce that the dress should be "snappy casual" on up. Since we are all getting older and don't have as many opportunities to get dressed up and go out, we want people to feel free to do so. However, since it is summertime, we want people to be comfortable, too. So for guys we are suggesting khaki's and a nice shirt, but not a tie or jacket, unless you want to go all out. For the ladies, we say, get as dressy as you'd like. 08-01-2008 - 106 people are coming...are you? Hey Class of 88...The reunion committee is excited to announce that as of today, we have 106 people coming to the reunion dinner dance! This is going to be an event you don't want to miss! It's not too late to get your tickets TODAY! Just go to the reunion page and follow the prompts. If you want to mail a check instead, all the info is on the reunion page as to where to send it. Just send me an email at shakradom@wowway.com so I know to include you and look for the check in the mail! Also, the golf outing will NOT be cancelled. We are still looking for people to join in...but as it stands we will modify the event to take place, even if attendance stays low. So, if you bought your ticket already... everything is still on. If you haven't bought a ticket and want to come...now's the time. I know I keep bugging people about getting their information on the website under the contact classmates catagory, especially bios and pics. We are putting together a memory book compiled from this info and if you don't have anything in...you will NOT be included in the book, and we want EVERYONE included! If you aren't computer savy and need help, just email me your info and pic and I'll post it for you. Imagine how sad you'll be if you're not included in the book!  The deadline to submit your info is Aug.10th. We are now in the 'home stretch' and our reunion weekend will be here before you know it. Don't miss out on a party that's been 20 years in the making! 07-29-2008 - 20th Reunion is less than a month away! Our reunion will be here before you know it! 20 years is WAY too long to go without getting together and catching up on old times. There is still time to purchase your tickets to our reunion events...but you have to act fast! Space is filling up quick for the Dinner Dance and tickets sales are ending on August 1st. If you've been thinking about attending the Golf Outing and have put it off, DON'T! We are currently in danger of having to cancel that event if we can't fill at least 30 more spots. We are counting on your participation to make the whole reunion weekend a success. Also, if you are planning on attending the free family picnic event on Sunday, Aug, 24th, please drop us a quick email at shakradom@wowway.com to let us know so we can give a realistic count to the park people. We'd like to thank everyone who has already bought their tickets. For those who have been in touch and aren't able to make the event, you will be missed! Old News |
